biggest fear is that i will get sucked into some sort of heroworship with some painter and forever try to imitate them r a long time i made a pointed effort NOT to look at art books, paintings, etc. wanted to have my own distilled style. but seeing that i dont know if im inspired or devastated. i have a long way to go. in a lot of ways, i kind of just want to rl up in a ball and fall apart ill never be able to do what hes done, and its pretty overwhelming and somebody said to me Well, I think it ought to be about doing your thing, regardless of how many other people may have done it before r may do it afterward. Perhaps, as we have previously discussed, it doesnt hurt to know more; know what the options re then you can choose. ... you have to ask yourself what impact knowing will have on the quality of life. So for a long time you avoided this because you wanted to have your life and not have it influenced by what others might ow or do. There is nothing wrong with that it is your choice to make. Perhaps the real question is why you make the decisions you do.
